Susan Antonaccio took her first bikram yoga class 10 years ago, but has been a regular practitioner for the past 2 years. Susan has a B.F.A in dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. After many years of dance training, many injuries started to surface. After two knee surgeries and other aches and pains, she stopped performing and found love in teaching dance to children. Susan got reconnected with Bikram yoga through her sister, and once she committed to having a regular practice began to see a huge improvement in overall health and wellness. She joined the workstudy team on the UES and then was inspired to complete a 30 day challenge, and just became hooked. She decided that the yoga did so many great things for her physically and emotionally that she wanted to study it more intensely and spread it to others. Susan completed teacher training in Fall 2008.
